But I'm having trouble getting the 'Wordpress Users' plugin to display only the users for the blog being looked at. At the moment it shows all the users registered on all blogs, rather than just the one I am looking at. Unfortunately I can't quite work out how to filter out the other users. The two options I can see are; 1) adding another clause to the SQL query, to require 'meta_key = wp_[blog id]_user_level', or 2) adding an 'if' clause somewhere using the built in functions like 'is_user_member_of_blog'. I think the second one would work for both WP and WPMU, so I'd rather try that approach. Has anyone tried doing this themselves? I can't seem to get it to work, either. Shouldn't the "noindex" show up in the source code? I'm not even seeing it there. Maybe I'm getting the page ID wrong? I get it from rolling over the post title in the admin page and looking in the bottom window of the browser. It's usually a 2 or 3 digit number, right? Thanks for your help! I just deleted the main admin account, I can log in as one of the other admin when I need too. I've settled for the display_name as the sort type, will be fine for my use. I've added fields, using register-plus, and added if isset so it only displays fields that hold content. Also added radio buttons (register plus again) for users to choose yes/no to display certain fields like address publicly. Thanks for the useful plugin. I have a list of people (graduating class) They see there name in the list, click it to create a profile (which also gives admin their info for contact) Then displays their public profile. This is what I have been able to piece together. I've put in extra fields, including checkbox's for display public for phone, email and address. The register plus supports auto fill for registration, so i can provide a link from a name that auto fills username (First Last) If they don't change it, this works. I've changed yours to sort by display name. This works because I can moderate the display name of registers. The drawback is display name sorts by first letter, which would be the first name. I can live with this but not ideal. If you have a solution I would love to hear it. If I can hire you to get a workable solution email me -leonard.at.geekspecialties.com. The problem with the display name is that the user can set it to whatever they want. It can be their full name or in most cases, their username. So its totally different than sorting by name. Also, another reason not to sort by last name, is that First and Last name are not required during registration. Not all users have entered first and last names. So unless you can force all users to enter that, it wouldn't be very useful anyway. I will not be adding this ability unless WordPress makes it easier to search by name.
