Mac OS gives you an warning when you install, saying that you are missing Berkeley DB. According to Dan Benjamin, "we’ll want to always use SVN’s superb FSFS repository format rather than Berkeley DB." You may want to ask him.

		<description>Jonathan, just curious to ask why you didn't enable Berkeley DB for use with Subversion.  Was there something in particular that made FSFS the right choice for you?  In the early days of Subversion there were issues with svn code and db code that caused problems for users.  Those no longer exist.  True, there are trade-offs between the two, but as the Product Manager for DB I'm always looking to understand why people choose not to use it so I can fix those issues.
